You survived the diagnosis. Now you are trying to survive the fear.
A diagnosis changes far more than your health. It can shake your sleep, your confidence, your relationships, and your sense of who you are. Jeanie offers compassionate, personalised support to help you find your footing again one step at a time.
Hi, I’m Jeanie Brookbanks-Smith a Resilience Coach, registered nurse with 33 years of experience, mother of three, and lifelong athlete.
I have also been the patient. After facing Budd-Chiari syndrome, Polycythemia Vera, and multiple autoimmune conditions, I know firsthand how a diagnosis can reach into every part of your life. I built this work because I needed it and because every woman I have supported has needed it too.
Support that works alongside your medical team, never instead of it
No. This is resilience coaching not therapy or medical treatment. It focuses on your fear, mindset, routines, and self-advocacy so you can move forward with more calm and confidence.
Resilience coaching supports the whole person body, mind, emotions, habits, and daily life. Jeanie uses 33 years of nursing experience and her own health journey to help you calm your nervous system, change fear-based thinking, build healthier routines, and feel more confident managing life after diagnosis. It works alongside your healthcare team, never replacing it.
Yes. Virtual nurse-led coaching is available across the United States. I also do in-person sessions in the Denver area.
This is for adults living with chronic illness, autoimmune disease, cancer, or serious health challenges who want support with stress, mindset, routines, self-advocacy, and moving forward after diagnosis.
We talk about what you are experiencing, identify what is keeping you stuck, and create practical tools and next steps you can use in daily life.
No. Coaching does not replace your medical care. My role is to support you with education, self-advocacy, stress reduction, mindset tools, and practical next steps.
